Plane Pull

Plane Pull Highlights

Thank you to everyone who supported Special Olympics Southern California at the 2011 Plane Pull at the Long Beach Airport. Because of their efforts, more than $50,000 was raised for Special Olympics athletes.

Event Details

On August 20, teams of 25 tested their strength, stamina, and endurance at our sixth annual Plane Pull. The teams attempted to pull a 164,000 pound FedEx plane 12-feet. Prizes were awarded to the team that pulled the plane the fastest — and slowest.

To view how every team did, please visit our Plane Pull Results page.
