Officers Serve as Celebrity Waiters for Tip-A-Cop® Fundraiser
Claim Jumper and Law Enforcement Officers Raise Funds to Benefit Special Olympics
Who: Special Olympics Southern California (SOSC), local Law Enforcement agencies, and Claim Jumper Restaurants
What: Claim Jumper to Host Tip-A-Cop Events to Support Special Olympics Southern California
When: Thursday, April 8, 5 to 9 p.m.
Where: All Southern California Claim Jumper restaurants– visit www.claimjumper.com for locations. We encourage local media to visit one of the Claim Jumper Restaurants for interviews and photos with local law enforcement and Special Olympics Southern California representatives and athletes.
Why: Southern California Claim Jumper Restaurants are partnering with local law enforcement agencies to raise money for Special Olympics. Law enforcement officers will serve as celebrity waiters at 24 locations, and their tips will support Special Olympics Southern California.
In addition to tips, on Claim Jumper will donate 20% of all dessert sales on April 8 to Special Olympics Southern California to help reach the fundraising goal of $200,000.
Tip-A-Cop events are part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run®, which is one of the largest fundraising arms of Special Olympics Southern California.
