LETTER 1 - From a New Volunteer
Dear ___________,
Hi, hope you’re doing well. Did you know I’ve started volunteering for Special Olympics Southern California? You’ve probably heard of them – they’re this great organization that helps people with intellectual disabilities by giving them the chance to compete in sports competitions. They have those big Fall Games you see on the news every year.
Maybe you didn’t know that Special Olympics also works the rest of the year, providing athletic training and opportunities to compete for both children and adults.
Well, now I need your help. I have the chance to help Special Olympics even further by raising funds that will go directly towards chapter games that aid people living right here, in Southern California. If you believe in this cause like I do, it’d be great if you could contribute any amount towards my goal. Every little bit helps!
