12th ANNUAL Columbus Day Drive
October 12, 2015
Thank you to all those who registered for and participated in the 2015 Columbus Day Drive! Only with Special Olympics can you walk onto the playing field in your own community and watch your investment make an immediate impact.
The 2015 Columbus Day Drive took place at Marbella Country Club on Monday, October 12. Since this tournament's inception, $620,000 has been raised to support the athletes of Special Olympics Orange County.
Have you heard the story of Tim’s Place in Albuquerque, New Mexico? It’s the “world’s friendliest restaurant” – serving breakfast, lunch, and hugs. You might have seen pictures of its owner,Tim Harris, giving hugs to Jordin Sparks, Stevie Wonder, and even Barack Obama. We heard Tim’s story and received our own hugs at the 2015 Columbus Day Drive Dinner.LEARN MORE
