Athlete Video Profiles

Special Olympics Southern California has many stories to tell of courage, of hope, and of inspiration. Through Special Olympics, people with intellectual disabilities have an opportunity to showcase their skills, courage, and achievements. The athletes not only have fun while competing but transform communities by inspiring people throughout the world to open their minds, accept and include people with intellectual disabilities and celebrate the similarities common to all people.

Nothing is Impossible

Special Olympics Southern California provides people with intellectual disabilities the chance to grow and develop themselves through sports. Their training as a Special Olympics athlete transcends into everything they do in life. Debi Anderson is an example of that.
