Torch Run® Routes

"Guardians of the Flame"

 

Officers from local, county, state, federal and military agencies carry the "Flame of Hope" throughout Southern California and the three main legs (North, Central and South) meet up at Summer Games at California State University, Long Beach on June 12, 2010.

 

The Northern Leg starts in northern San Luis Obispo County and travels south, through Santa Barbara, Ventura and Los Angeles Counties.

 

The Los Angeles (Central) Leg covers the entire Los Angeles County.

 

The Southern Leg begins with a ceremony at the Chula Vista Police Department and then heads north to Orange County.  It then travels through Riverside and San Bernardino Counties before entering Los Angels County.

 

Other shorter Torch Run Legs include Antelope Valley (covers part of northern Los Angeles County), Barstow, Imperial Valley, Kern County, Riverside County, Central Riverside County (Hemet to Cabazon), Santa Clarita, and Temecula.
